In the latest round of rumors, Google is set to buy up Digg for $200 million. Will it actually happen this time? I’m no Nostradamus, but I vote yes.
Before the summer months are up, Google will have bought up Digg and added it to its online empire of web properties.

I wonder if the Google user account can be merged with the Digg for users that already have an account on each site. Or, if any GMail user can already have a Digg account.I think merging these types of accounts together would be great. I truly like the fact that I can login to my Google Toolbar and then all the Google web pages login me it, and I would like it if when I went to Digg, it would use my current GMail account.~ Jim
