Leave it to a guy named Gray to show it's not all black and white.
I like Michaels take on the subject. Would not have even thought about Obama but when you think about it, you have to wonder if he even plays any role in what avatar was chosen, what messages are sent, etc.
I dont think his point is so much about fake profiles, but multilpe authors accessing the same profile, which I dont see a problem with.
Thanks for sharing these interesting profiles..^^
At SantaBot.com, some kids think they're really talking to the really real Santa. Those of us a little older know that he couldn't possibly have that many chat windows open at once, and realize some of his elves are probably helping; but I think most people are ok with that. Ultimately, they're just there for the presents, and want to make sure someone in the North Pole hears their request - nobody ever really cared about Santa, the elves, or anyone at the North Pole Inc.
chris he is magical, thats how he can chat in all those windows at the same time. I'm shocked you didn't know that.
Michael's on top form again - excellent examples. :)
@incrediblehelp - i think it could be argued that the "multiple author" model is even more ripe for abuse. if i sign up to follow a person (especially a famous one) then i want to hear *from that person*, not from an army of interns on that person's behalf.
and what happens if a disgruntled intern starts twittering out of turn? things could get ugly very quickly, and the damage control could take quite some time....
