I stopped reading this after point number 1. I would hate to prove the author wrong.

Point number 1 is true when someone blogs like the author. I just scanned through. There are lots of bloggers whose posts I read with great pleasure and don’t miss a word. That’s how it needs to be done ^^

Aren’t blog visitors subjective? For example, if I had a blog about regular funny posts, people’d want to read the whole thing. Yet again, if it was a marketing or business tips blog, aspiring businessmen would still read the whole thing. However skimming through is a general trend when it comes to news and technology blogs.Yet again, about how big a post should be, yet again is subjective. Entice your reader and he will be with you till the last word, make it a bore and he should pretty much leave reading half your post.I agree with big words being a strict No-No! - Use of improper titles is wrong as well is erroneous - Highlighting is a good thing, yes and supportive images are necessary, True! All in all a good post.

I feel like 80% of people decide if they will read/scan the post based on title alone.
