Im not a SEO professional or even claim to be one. The only Blog I have is a Preschool Blog.... it has nothing to do with SEO, Technology or Social Media. I have a handful of sites that I run and truly I enjoy it. But, I took a couple of years off of keeping up with SEO and boy, did SEO change in the past 2 years. I came to Sphinn to read up-to-date information on SEO and found that it has moved in so many different directions and now there is Social Media. Im having a really great time learning from all of you extremely talented people and it is the one place that no one has made me feel like a moron for not knowing much. And, I really, really appreciate it.
I love when people take time out of their busy schedules to say, "Thank you". Its not done enough. So, to all Sphinners.....
THANK YOU!!

Ill 2nd that - sphinns a cool place. I spend all day long in SEO and Im constantly learning things from here. I think a big pat on the back to Danny and the guys for setting the site up but also thanks to all the moderators, the community and anyone whos ever sphunn something. Its a great place and were all making it work.
Excellent point!! I couldnt agree more! Thanks for adding that. :)
I have often also wanted to thank the community for their helpful input. I have not done so because I felt it might be looked at as disingenuous, or link bait, though it would not have been motivated by such. The amount of extremely useful material on the site is staggering. In indeed is a virtual library of relevant information. And you are right in that, generally speaking, you will not be made to feel like a moron, although there has been a variation from that a time or two. So I agree. This is a nice oasis in the industry.
Thank you Shana. You are truly a great Sphinner, so much that Ive even written about you in my latest blog entry. And thanks to each and every Sphinner. You are all a great inspiration and really fuel me, personally, every day to work harder.
Very glad youre loving it, Shana!
Youre very welcome, Shana! Sphinn is great.. lots of great people and a whole bunch of interesting articles as well. And its not a time-sink at all unlike social sites like Facebook or Youtube.. everything you learn here can be used to improve your websites and personal skills. :)
Well stated Shana. Your input, and the fact that so many professionals here are sharing for the sake of sharing, help many of us learn the ropes, and develop a greater sense of awareness in this industry.
I like Sphinn too. Little noise and lots of interesting friendly people with real things to say. Well done to all at Sphinn and well done Shana for starting the kind of discussion that many of us no doubt think, but dont get around to saying. Cheers all :)
I agree. I love Sphinn. I always learn a lot from all the fantastic articles submitted.
Well I am just having a big DUH moment. I, too, find Sphinn to be a wonderful resource (ok, more like a godsend). I just never thought to say it. Thank you Shana for taking a moment to say what I have been thinking. My duh moment came because I realized that I always assume that EVERYONE who uses Sphinn is so much more ahead of the game than I am and I wonder what I have to contribute (Ive only recently begun to even sphinn articles already submitted). Of course there are others like me who are trying to play catch up! Like I said, duh. Thanks again Shana for the post and a BIG THANK YOU to the entire Sphinn community for helping me up my game.
Shana is wonderful. Shana is good. I totally agree with you, and Sphinn really has succeeded in many may ways. But my favorite way it has succeeded is as a portal for alot of great writers of informative blogs to be able to get attention. It has done an incredible job in doing that and most of the credit goes to Danny for being such a constant part of it, and of course to the editors who rock as well. As for you Shana, let me point out to Sphinners that if they are not your StumbleUpon friend yet, they should be.
Thank you all for the great comments!! I had responded to tomcritchlow already, but the rest of the comments came so fast I havent had a chance.... so, here they are: KnightCrawler - "This is a nice oasis in the industry" - Well put. Tanner - Wow, Man... Thank you so much. To be put in the Category of the other Movers and Shakers is such an Honor!! Danny - I am loving it... Thank you so much. For so many reasons. DoshDosh - I am learning so much that my head hurts.... seriously, it hurts right now!! PlanetC1 - Who better to try and learn the ropes from than from the amazing people here at Sphinn. RobWatts - No need to thank me.... Ive been thinking about it for so long that I just needed to be said. PatBDoyle - :) ATeeple - I have DUH moments all the time :) mbeharry - Youre right "Sphinn Rocks" nuff said. Patrick, Dear Sweet Patrick - You were my best Sphinn ever!! Serously, Your post was 48... my best. ;-)
To be honest, I hate it here. Digg has much more stimulating debate and is far less cliquey. (Im kidding of course - if it wasnt for this place, I wouldnt have learnt nearly as much as I have done in the past 2 or 3 months. Ill add my thanks to the rest of the gratitude in the thread)
Woodrow Wilson once said "I not only use all the brains that I have, but all that I can borrow." I think we can all relate to that quote. I couldnt have said it any better myself Shana. Cheers!
