Its the Lyndon Avatar. Im afraid of what happens if I dont click. Look at Dannys comments though, hes almost matched with sphinns.
So you visit 100s of sites and sphinn everything you come across. He stalks the major seo blogs and those blogs usualy get sphunn. That make you great Sphinner? Its like walking on the street and slapping everyone. PS:That dont make you a star. 75+% of those here read those blogs on daily basis so theres not a lot of news. Bring in the new sheet!
Ummm...or that makes him a vital community member who keeps us apprised of terrific content. 6 of one...half dozen of another.
"Its the Lyndon Avatar. Im afraid of what happens if I dont click." Hahaha. Lyndons a nice guy.. 73% is pretty awesome.
Lol, I do have to agree with the idea that there is something about Lyndons avatar that instills fear if you dont click. But in my time at Sphinn, Ive yet to see something that Lyndon Sphunn that was not of great quality.
...and those headlines!!! He could make almost anything (73% I guess) sound Sphinnworthy with that writing style.
Firstly, I just woke up to this post and can guarantee I did not get Marty to post this, so blame him if you think its too much crow, me, Im just an unassuming Brit. Second, Nooobliminal look at the data. You can slap as many people as you like, its if you knock them out thats important. Simply look at the data. I dont say Im a star, in fact I dont say anything, so dont try to start an arguement over something Im not even claiming. Third, the avatar. Im actually quite a softee. But it was designed to get noticed. Im not voting for this because I dont think this is worth a front pager, but others do so.... Heres my prediction, Maki will be number one within 14 days.
>heres my prediction, Maki will be number one within 14 days. having some time off then geezer? ;) Funnily enough, I blogged on a related item here http://sphinn.com/SocialMedia/Brand-Building---How-social-media-sites-help-build-your-brand---Yack-Yack-SEO/
For me, its all about spurts. Ive never continued anything in my life. Why start now? Social media for me is very similar to playing a video game. Lets call it "Sim Social", where you have to get everyone to vote for you. But mostly Im too busy with clients to keep it up.
Congrats, Lyndon -- more power to you!
Lyndon had NO idea that I was doing this. Anyone who hangs out in Sphinn knows that there are no "auto-write-great-headline" or "push to "spit out compelling 70 letter description" buttons for FireFox-no matter how many "top SEO sites" one peruses. Working ones way up the top Sphinner list takes definite time from ones day and without participants there are no social communities. I reckon he spends 4-5 hours a week bringing content to our attention. Lyndon rarely bookmarks his own posts. I hold my headline writing up to his and try to be THAT good. Rock on dude...Im guessing thats what Danny had in mind. Plenty of people watch that list and take aim. Lyndon, enjoy the moment until someone else earns the spot. There will be many changing of the guards over time. For now, you click-baited the best link-baiters in world, over the course of months, with hard work and great content.
Lyndon rocks and he is in no way voting for everything or submitting just the big sites. Thats why he is also in my top 20!: http://sphinn.com/story/6340
Nicely done Lyndon. (So its true that I wont turn to stone if I dont click on your avatar?)
I clicked on his avatar...I turned to Stone...dont believe its safe.
And he loves Thai curry !!!
I make sure I am wearing my radiation suit when I click on his avatar.... Great Job Lyndon --- Well Deserved!!!
Do I get a prize. Like a Sphinn pen or something? ;) Actually, theres an idea, where are the Sphinn Tshirts?
Well, I have these Sphinn graphics for T-shirts, but you have to iron them on, so its been slow going. Im up to shirt three, I think :)
Lyndon should CERTAINLY get a do-it-yourself t-shirt decal. :)
