"No, Seth, it doesn’t take 10 years to become a success."

I follow Seth, I have his books, but I don’t agree with everything "anyone" says, SEOblackhat.com echoes my thought.

Well, he does have a point. Sort of. If it were "patience", "more time", etc, just not "10 years".

He always has a point ;)And this is not to say you should think "you" can get success overnight. But I think it’s a great conversation starter, whether it’s right or wrong is less important than if it makes you think about it. Most people do take a long time to "make it".

I think some people get lucky and some people don’t but it defnitely does not take 10 year to become a success on the net. 10 years ago there wasnt half the established website their are now so how does that make any sense?

This post missed the point, which isn’t that success takes 10 years, but that patience and persistence pays off. Short version: don’t be in such a rush to quit just because you don’t score $300k/year right off the bat.
