Well, he does have a point. Sort of. If it were "patience", "more time", etc, just not "10 years".
He always has a point ;)And this is not to say you should think "you" can get success overnight. But I think its a great conversation starter, whether its right or wrong is less important than if it makes you think about it. Most people do take a long time to "make it".
It will be interesting to see how well Seths new project triiiiiiiiibe does and how long it takes him to make it or break it!

I think some people get lucky and some people dont but it defnitely does not take 10 year to become a success on the net. 10 years ago there wasnt half the established website their are now so how does that make any sense?
This post missed the point, which isnt that success takes 10 years, but that patience and persistence pays off. Short version: dont be in such a rush to quit just because you dont score $300k/year right off the bat.
