I cant get my head round the new digg, I am waiting for the software tool which allows me to vote for my friends more quickly.
Lyndon, I have got an idea, check it out, at the end of the description on every story you submit you put your username i.e. I would put - UKDave then my friends would be able to go to search digg, search for UKDave most recent and all of my most recent submissions would show up with one click access to the digg or the story. Say I got all of my friends to do the same I would be able to create a word document with links to all of my friends recent submissions. I have thought long and hard about it and that is the best thing I have been able to come up with. I wonder what all the diggers would make of it if the submitters started adding their usernames at the end of the descriptions?
@Lyndon: vote for my friends more quickly. :( omfg : http://sphinn.com/story/6455 . I h8 this!
This is so bizarre! I have to admit, I hadnt spent time getting my head around the *old* Digg. Im glad I decided to try to understand StumbleUpon first!
Thanks for bringin this up - how about we do something about it? Everyone who reads this post and wants to do something should go and digg up a bunch of the posts critcizing/talking about the new Digg interface. If anyone wants to do this, here are some articles that Ive just gone and Dugg up: Digg Moving In The Wrong Direction Social Networkig Spinning Out of ControlIs Digg Trying To Become Myspace?Obviously, we need to all pick the same articles to make anything happen.
Rule number one of social media: let the colonists say what they are going to say.Ouch.
"While Technorati shows an increase in blog posts about Digg, it’s weird to see that only one negative post made it to the front page. And it wasn’t even a really negative post."Not only was it not a negative post, half of the article ripped off my content here: http://www.techipedia.com/2007/new-digg-community-reaction/They finally added a source link after days of asking. :(Frustrating.
