It just couldn’t get worse. I mean, the top banner, all the wasted space (when I say wasted, it is really because it is, I do like clean and minimalist designs).

Well, what do you guys think about it, after having played with is a couple weeks?

This news is a bit late, but again, I can’t get used to the new Props :(

Talk about jumping on this whole "Web 2.0" design late.  Good Lord.  But your analysis was great and I couldn’t agree more.  Propeller’s new design = Failure.

I’ll reserve judgement until when and if I am able to log in again.

@anthony: I love space and light designs... when there is a reason :)

It’s bad but not due to "wasted space". It’s not at all usable. The white space though is one of the best things about it.

AOL explains a lot of GREAT things lately - like Engadget amazing design (hah)

They used to have amazing SERPs as well - like in the top page or two for news and stuff on Google.com. The new design has killed many of them. It looks like a blog now and not a social news site - Sphunn.

It’s not like if they ever though of redirecting all of their URLs or thought about any interlinking done.AOL - that explains it (sorry, I love this sentence too much!)
