Installed the redirection plugin yesterday. Working great.
I don't agree with one of the statements made regarding the first plugin:
"make sure the post and page names are the first things in your title, and then your blog name."
IMO... Your post or page names don't neccesarily need to be in the title tag and unless you are a highly recognizable brand...dont waste the space puting your blog name in the title.
Another great title tag plugin to check out is the seo title tag plug from netconcepts
http://www.netconcepts.com/seo-title-tag-plugin/
and as for the second plugin... Wordpress already creates automatic 301 redirects if you change your slug so you don't really need a plugin for it.
Another WP plugin list getting sphunn, meeeeeh
I will post some lateron which Matt recommends.
These are really must have plugins..anyways thanks for sharing this post..^^
@yoipotter2
Out of interest - are you just a bot Yoi? You always pipe in on posts with the near identical line of "Nice post, thanks for sharing". You've been doing this for months now? How about a little more detail? What do you like about this post? What can you add to the conversation?
If you're not a bot, then take this as a freindly invitation. I understand you may not have the best English in the world but I'm willing to bet you'd find support here if you at least try? How about it?
Headspace2 and Redirection are masterpieces, but I wouldn´t install a plugin just to remove stop words from slugs or to to add image attributes... Similar Posts and a Social Networking plugin are more important I think
