A lot of the affiliate marketing and AdSense "alleged gurus" are using these crooked tactics. I was a victim of this once from Mike Filsaime and when I did a Google search, I found a similar issue at Rip Off Report. My guess is once enough corruption hits the market, the FTC will step in and regulate this more.
interesting....the page on his site that supposedly had the apology on it is now just a sales page. a very obnoxious, popup/flash filled sales page.
I have to say, Joel Comm was deff a great source for me in terms of really taking on Adsense...probably THE adsense GURU...too bad he had to go for dirty sales tactics to push his product which is prob good anyway.
