How many of these types do we see on Sphinn every day. I always feel like the noob, never feel I can learn enough. Confess your type!
Im always trying to expand my knowledge and so am often the n00b too.Although if I am feeling like a big shot Ill also transform into the Internet Marketing Fantasist as well on occasions haha! What about the rest of you?
I suppose no one is going to admit to being a sleeze ;)
Great article. I have certainly witnessed all 11 on my travels.
"the article writer has to compete with Indians who will write 10 pages for $2. He or she would be financially better off stacking shelves in a supermarket"Who ever wrote this has obviously never read webpages writen by Asian Indians. I especially get a good laugh at Asians trying to market their SEO sevices when their English is obviously horribly bad.
Hi John,I wrote the article and have read the efforts of said Asian Indian writers. The point is, a lot of people want content done on the cheap, regardless of the quality and it is difficult for writers to get paid a decent rate when there are other companies willing to churn stuff out for next to nothing.
I spot an SEOChampion...
It is my ultimate aim to be a list bomber... :)
You forgot:#12 - Slimy List Poster - someone that when lacking in something worthwhile to post, publishes a list of an indiscriminate number of items of some random topic just to keep at the center of attention.Lots of these on Sphinn ;)<ducks>
Hilarious! Wheres the slimy blog spammer who says "hey man, nice post" when Im a girl?My least favorite is the Skype creeps. Seriously it feels like such an invasion of privacy.
Funny yet true..^^ I have to admit Ive already met most of these folks online except the skype spammer..^^ I guess because I dont have skype account..^^
Yeah, Ive had a lot of article writers apply to write for me... and a few of the Indian writers, as well. Many of them dont bother to read the part of the job ad that says Im not looking for generic mistake-ridden text that happens to contain a lot of keywords. But I do have a surprising number of "keepers" who manage to avoid meeting the slime criteria.
The pictures make this post. If there was ever a guidline for putting the right pictures in a blog post then this would be it :o)
Thanks for all your great comments guys!@Chewie glad you liked the photos, I thought they were quite apt for the post aswell!
What about the online reputation management hustler? The AdWords-buyin guy with an anonymous website, call-forwarding 1-800 number, and a first name only.. who promises to remove negative information from Google for $499 guaranteed...?
Haha, nice one Simon, I feel a part two coming on...
