Lisa Barone writes: I chose to align myself with Facebook because of the promise that my information was closed off from people I didn’t want accessing it. Now that’s changing and it makes me more than a little concerned about what may end up in the SERPs next. If you’re a Facebook user, I’d caution you to pay close attention to what’s showing up for your name in the SERPs. You may be surprised.

This kills me. This post was submitted yesterday, got a few good Sphinns, and then sat there.

Then Tamar comes around, re-submits the next day, and it goes hot in less than 90 minutes. Behold the power of Tamar!

@0thelisa: When you look down the What's New list, you get to see the repeat and duplicate posts first.

Some of it comes down to time of day of posting. If enough people get to see the original post quickly it can get a lot of votes. If few people see it (as they are asleep) then by the time they do log on, the original post has moved off to page 2 and the "repeat" post is sat there at the top of page 1, just waiting for all those clicks.
