Will Critchlow raises a particularly worrying issue with wiki-circularity. The issue of the democratic web allowing erroneous information to become embedded into ’fact’, perpetuating myth and misinformation is one that has fascinated me for a while. But I had never considered the feedback loop caused by news outlets using Wikipedia for fact-checking and story gathering.

I never considered before how online misinformation could become a feedback loop with mainstream media. Wikipedia has some major issues if this is the case.
