Lisa Barone writes "Jane Copland has a bitter post over at SEOmoz arguing that too many bloggers and speakers advise "creating good content" without going into the specifics. Jane calls it a new form of snake oil salesmen, and while I can share her distaste for those who blog without knowing what theyre talking about, I find the whole post somewhat unfair."

Apologies to Jane if she felt like I was twisting her words. I thought I was just disagreeing with the post. It wasnt meant as any kind of attack or assault.
So I commented on the Bruce Clay blog with this but apparently it didnt pass approval, heh, so im signing up here to say it. I dont see what the problem is because these posts say a lot of the same things and the Seomoz post isnt bitter. Frustrated more like and it seems a lot of people agree. What the heck would Jane have to be bitter about anyway? I think the tone used in the post here was just used for attention.
Just a note to Leo: Comments are moderated, so yours was approved this morning when I got into work. I try to leave the blog alone on the weekend. I find it allows me to have a social life. ;)
Heh. I dont see it but oh well... if you say so maybe it got lost in the tubes.
This is pretty funny. While Lisa is claiming to disagree with Jane, she does exactly what Jane thinks more bloggers should do -- provide the answers to what real content is. It sure doesnt look like Lisa disagrees with Jane and not really why she framed it that way. (More eyeballs if people think theyre fighting?) Lisa, you probably could have said you agreed with Jane and heres some of the things those bloggers could do and say.
Unprofessionally twisting and throwing my words back at me. Microwave.
Desphunn because it appears to be a post written mainly to disagree with Jane.
