The theme in SU seems to be finding new sites. Once youve been stumbled a few times youre no longer new and get less traffic. I dont know, Im I wrong?
My impression is that SU has lots of filters preventing people from voting up each other. So having too many friends etc. makes you suspicious.
StumbleUpon has a fantastic advertising concept, but if you are too cheap to pay for views, its true its best treated as a leisure activity.
Well, obviously it works if you have different content posted on your site every day or week and you stumble that.
Stumbling all day cant bring huge amounts of traffic. You need content. But stumbling 15 minutes a day brings more traffic than never stumbling. . .
searchkari, well no. Have you visited my blog at all and really read the article?lucia: Thats probably the best way of of using SU.
Yes, Ive definitely noticed that after you get that first initial burst of traffic from being discovered, SU referrels go way down even if future pages on your site are stumbled. 15 minutes a day and using the program to find new things to read and interesting people is probably worth more than trying to game it as an SEO.
Never tried to game it, AdsenseAnnie, please read the article first before dropping comments
