I nice compliation. I find that I'm very impulsive with my thumbing.

Slow load times = thumbs down

Music, Speaking, Flashing, Marquee, etc = thumbs down

Too many ads = thumbs down

Something outside of the categories I'm interested in = thumbs down

Something that looks good, but looks long = skip

Something I've seen a bunch of times = skip

Some good points, although I think I've only used the thumbs down very rarely for really crappy websites/stories.

Not sure about the already seen it on another social media website reason as they all have slightly different audiences. This story is on StumbleUpon and Sphinn but I don't think that's a bad thing if it's giving people what they want to read.

I thumb often, down for too many ads, and up if there are none.
