Some people are wondering about why I decided to remove the NOFOLLOW function from my blog’s comments. So...here’s the explanation, as well as what I believe to be an argument in favor of removing NOFOLLOW from a post’s comment links.

Visited the site (with an intent to comment) and found myself going through and reading more about Alysson. I also discovered the Pet Sitting site (which I thought was cute). I think it’s a worthwile effort, interesting to see how it turns out.

Thanks.  :)  Glad you like the site...and that you took time to comment!  Thanks for also taking the time to check out our pet sitting site.  That business keeps my sister pretty busy...and able to support 2 spoiled kids as a single mom.  :)

Good for you. My blog also allows dofollow on all links as well. However, unlike you I’m not about to broadcast that fact in front of a bunch of SEO types :).

I think I’ve already been through within the comments on SEOAly the safeguards in place to prevent SPAM...and then there’s the ultimate SPAM stopper - me.  :)  @SEOhack - by "dougie", I assume you are referring to Doug Heil - who seems to think I’m an idiot and that he can in some way, shape or form change my mind about removing the NOFOLLOW from my comment links?  I think his heart is in the right place, but he needs to understand that he’s made his point - and I simply disagree with it!

Actually was nice to see that you opened your blog for comments :)  Recently I was coming accross  posts against the "dofollow".  People don’t like spam, and there is a lot of time for high traffic blogs to spend on moderation.  I found that wordpress is getting more spam than blogger.  Was a very nice post.  SEOAly.
