The reality is that we should embrace software progress in our field. We should look at software improvements and innovations as tools that can help us scale our own business and be more successful. Is it bad to use SEO software that does all the tedious work and helps us serve 20 clients per month instead of 10?

The use of tools can surely automate some tasks, particularly in grabbing/looking for the robots.txt file, determining the presence and content of a title tag or meta tag, but SEO is more than just keywords, it’s also writing optimized copy that engages a user to take action towards a goal, amongst a billion other things. Tools will continue to help SEOs, but complete A-Z automation seems a lofty and (unachievable?) goal.

It is if we speak of the industrial revolution from the lateo 18th century. The factories firing thousands of people, to make way for the better and more productive machines. I don’ believe that SEO will ever be comletely automated. At least not until the moment when I will be able to argue with my PC about history and politics ;).

yes they are helpful but they have their won limits .... though much of the task cannot be performed but u get an overview of what needs to be done and what not .... i have used several but i prefer to use manual methods rather than using the automation process and jumbling all things together
