Does #6 really count?
@onreact - I believe it does. I worked on two listings both optometrists in the same relative area (but both are different locations of the same brand) one with the maps, and one without. After 2 weeks of looking at the results, the one with the map ranked better in the listings. When I added the missing map to the other listing, it caught up with the other clinic, one next to the other.
Agree with Dev, it avoids users jumping off from your page to consult directions. also helps users to check on neighborhood for things as car park, directions, meet points, etc.I would say is mandatory but rather handy/inteligent
@lucio - Youre on the ball about the ease of use factor. In the context of local seo, landing pages should conform to best practices for usability and for the local search algorithms.
