Back in the early 90’s before Google even existed as a dream. I was paying websites to link to me. To get1) Traffic2) Exposure3) BuzzNow Google comes along and says that all links have to be no-follow. That reminds me of the gov making shorting stocks illegal instead of going after the bankers that stole all the money and which we the taxpayer have to bail out.Google hates SEO. They see us as the enemy. Well, I was doing SEO before Google ever existed. They are like a blight on the internet. Most of Youtube is stolen content. Yesterday I saw one of my videos on Youtube that somebody stole.

seobro, since you were only getting your links for the traffic, exposure and buzz, you wouldn’t have cared if the links had nofollow on them (if there were such a thing back then).Nofollow doesn’t stop traffic, exposure nor buzz as far as I know. But I do agree that Google hates SEO and sees us as the enemy.
