I got banned from Digg a few months ago and before this new script.  I doubt I have much chance there at all anymore.   Better stick with sphinn and the others I guess.

Oh good, you get banned from Digg and run right over and start self-promoting on Sphinn as fast as possible.Wonder why Digg banned you, it’s really a mystery...[Mod: Bill is referring to a rather nasty linkdrop to a porn site, that was placed above and has since been deleted]

OK, my comment makes no sense now because someone deleted the post before mine.

Make sure to lock the barn door after all the horses escape. It reminds me of the gov bailing the banks after all the money is gone. How about having regulations in place to prevent disaster. An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. In the case of Digg, I should create a parody site callled SPaaamm.Remember Shrapnel from the TV series Transformers who always repeated the last word; well we repeat the last letter. "I feel a certain kinship, kinship."

Sorry Bill, I deleted that oneThe woman at the center of this Sphinn decided to start dropping links to her porn site. Borderline case on that other story but nothing to do with the Diggboss situation. A quick look around the net and I notice she is using the situation to linkdrop - pity (and somewhat stupid) that she seems to be hitting any story with the keywords "digg" and "banning" in them. I’ve placed a note on your comment to explain - hopefully that makes it clearer.

"The woman at the center of this Sphinn decided to start dropping links to her porn site" - As a webmaster I know that must be a pain to deal with those people, but I got a good chuckle out of that statement nonetheless.  This is the difference between spammers and marketers, marketers make it less obvious ;)

It still seems odd to me that a top 5 Digger person would promote a site with a title that is going to attract the male dominated audience on Digg to go take a look at it.  Well that does not seem odd, what seems odd is that they did not even think there were going to be links to anything else on that site? How do you get to be one of the top on Digg? Is it by submitting massive articles?  Do the top Diggers read what they submit or only slow down to look at females who look good in their underwear?  Don’t sites like that send up a red flare to anyone other than the owners of Digg?I remember once a male friend, recently dumped by his wife, sent me to a site like that to see this girl who was interested in him who he somehow met somewhere online.  He wanted me to check out the beautiful girl who was interested in him and he had visions of meeting her and living happily ever after.I still remember his surprise when he found out how much it was going to cost him to talk to her, if it was really even her.  This was years ago.  I guess you are never too young or old to make some great mistakes.
