Sorry but the whole article is based on a wrong assumption:"Obviously there is the legitimate way of stumbling it yourself or asking a friend to do it, but I also wanted to cover a couple of other ways more specifically buying stumbles from StumbleUpon and buying stumbles from ’other sources’."I never submit myself on StumbleUpon, neither do I need to ask somebody nor to buy stumbles, I get stumbled naturally. It’s like saying that there are 3 ways of getting links. Create links on your own sites, link exchange, buying links.
