Publishers must take responsibility for the suitability of published adverts, even if the ads are chosen by an automated system like Google's AdSense, the UK advertising regulator has said.

Pretty impossible given that ads change daily, are different on different pages and different for different locations and different for different demographics.

Yeah it's a difficult one, where someone needs to take responsibility for the content - and Google certaintly won't want to.
