What a stupid profile pic you donkey
My google rankings were virtuall wiped out from this, so am keen to raise awareness.
My blog is currently looking into the security issue in general. I found this post confusing and clear as mud. Offers one tip about removing your page footers to recover. But, never really identifies how the hackers got control of their blog. But it is yet more proof that not caching your Google content is foolhardy. As checking your cache copy is how you can detect if your blog has been hacked or not.
Id agree with the problems with not allowing a cache to be displayed for this purpose alone. There are a number of ways in which they could have achieved what they wanted, the linked article with more detail shows a few.
The SEO Chicks blog had this issue and we were properly lectured about keeping Wordpress updated by Dazzlin Donna, whereupon we begged the Monkey to fix it, and he did, being a good boy.Who knew hackers were out there???Esrun, Id like to see your profile pic being the one of you in the rabbit shirt please.
If he carries on Julie ill post many pics I have of him that perhaps he wouldnt want published :)
Matt Mullenweg and all the other guys have talked on my blog about it, its not really news, but does deserve having attention brought back to it until fixed.
