I have searched the internet and could find nothing quite so sphinn-worthy as a blog post about my cats.

I do like the idea of a pet giraffe.

Yes, that would be interesting. :-) I hope your home has very high ceilings.

they are awesome. clearly. and they helped me test out what happens if i discard a story to kick it off the home page. that’s a bad thing, because it makes the story disappear from all lists. unless you know the URL, it’s gone. that’s not right, is it? i mean sure, if you were spamming, that type of nuking would be OK. but something we might decide hit the home page and perhaps deserves some editorial oversight? it still deserves to be listed someway. so i found out that queuing the story pulls it off the hot page but makes it stay alive as a submission. interesting. oh, get the giraffe.

Heh -- so I learn more! Kicking it back to queued means it can still, ahem, claw its way back to the top. OK, the cats have now used 2 of their 9 lives, but they can stay.

Your mental picture is slowly morphing into the cat lady from the simpsons...

Dammit. Maybe I’d better post those pictures people expect to see when they get to my blog after all.

For the record, Matt Cutts ranks for ’nude cats’ for me, but your site does not. I think there’s an opportunity for you.

I’d be happy to add them to my ever (OK, occasionally) growing collection of SEO Cats: http://qwertysqoncepts.blogspot.com/2007/04/cats-of-seo-and-few-dogs-while-were-at.html

My problem is figuring out cat picture to post. I have approximately 23,948 of ’em. (I’d have more but he’s only four years old)
