Barry Welford - Clearly Google is the biggest winner in this. However just do a Google blogsearch of ‘payday loan’. Of the top 10 results currently appearing, five of them are entries containing mumbo-jumbo sets of words including the words payday loan. These blogs presumably are computer creations designed to attract the search engine. Anyone inadvertently clicking on one of them will with relief click away to a Google AdSense advertisement for a payday loan provider.

Thanks for sphinning this, Dave.  This is a topic that's been bugging me for months.  In so many searches on BlogSearch you will find a number of Blogger posts with random collections of words appearing in the top 5.  I guess they still create Adsense traffic so Google hasn't seen it as a priority either to block the Blogger posts or not include them in Blogsearch results.
