I wanted a way to give my community members more exposure than just a link to their website. I figured the best way was to give you the ability to showcase your profiles in addition to your website link at the social sites most common in my community. And we’ve made it a free plugin for WordPress so anyone can use it.

I like the idea but as far as I understand it adds up to 10 more outgoing links per comment which makes you effectively a SEO catastrophe. Besides, am I getting it right that you can't add Sphinn, Mixx, Social|Median etc. ?

Are the links shown to all users, or hidden from bots?

Nice concept, but anyone who would know about this place most likely knows enough HTML to do a basic unordered list with little icons and list every service they use. Still, nice concept for the newcomer.

I would be concerned about whether the links are followed or not as well. It might be worth doing the links in javascript.

@onreact: There´s an option to “nofollow” profile links and you can manually add any network you’d like. More here: http://www.sugarrae.com/wordpress/social-profiles/
