For those of you who enjoy a bit of web search history, the seven year run (in terms of time online) the WiseNut site is now gone and tells those who visit to head to LookSmart.

In our post we link to Danny's news story about WiseNut being acquired by LookSmart in April, 2002, several screen caps, and a 2003 review of WiseNut from Greg Notess.

First Looksmart kills Zeal, now Wisenut.....wonder if they're imploding on themselves.

I actually liked wisenut...really.
