This is what the bloggers who already know all this don’t want publicised. They want you to think their outrage at a program is real to hype up the buzz and get an angry debate going on the comments. It’s just a form of linkbait

Nice post and right on the money. You could probably even add a few more prominent bloggers that usually follow the same mold. I myself usually stick with #3 and wait until it pans out. I’ve been burned to many times with jumping into the newest craze...not from reputation problems but with site problems (which could obviously lead to reputation problems, but if you only have 3 readers it’s okay).

Great post. I have jumped on a few bandwagons. I’ve yet to find the one that has me laughing all the way to the bank though.
