Google Analytics is really hitting the ball out of the park. Its hard to compete with such a robust tool that is also free to the user.
Yeah, but it does not work anymore on my FF 2.0All advanced options in the "Dimension" drop down are unavailable now here. I can see them but clicking does not work.
I am really enjoying getting into the Google Analytics. I have a basic understanding of how Analytics works but with these upgrades I think it is becoming much easier for me to get a grasp on the more intericate details of Analytics.
Great heads up on the new tools. Thanks!
One fun factoid is you can use GA to find idiots stealing your site.Look under Visitors>Network Properties->Hostnames and see if any domain names show up besides yours and most likely youve just found some idiot that stole your site, or part of it, and left the GA code in the page.Sending out a C&D to some idiot I found there in just a few... ;)
@IncrediBILL - cool tip. But usually those same fools who rip your site and forget to remove or change the GA tracking code - are also dumbenough to leave the copyright or other references on the page.In general I think Google is doing a great job with analytics - I cant wait for a full API, but I wont hold my breath.
Thanks for sharing this improvements on Google Analytics...hope theyll come up with more improvements to further help their subscribers.
im not sure its a new feature or its just something i just found out but if you click on the date range you can select todays date and check your "almost" live stats
