Matt, I agree with you about analytics, but not sure it would matter even on the larger scale. In fact, at that range I'd think it would be more beneficial as Google can see the power behind your domain... especially if you're hitting on all cylandars with usability and conversions.
I like using Google Apps, there are somethings I'd like to see introduced but am happy.
I love Google Checkout way over PP and will continue using it when they start charging.
I do wish I could morph my gmail and apps together easily though.
I don't mind Google knowing whatever about me hopefully they'll see I'm poor but giving them what I can ;) Then they'll give me higher rankings because they feel sorry for me or a janitor job in nearby Lenoir HEY! the janitor's a Limey guys!
Then also they will let me do the feet on the street Google Local thing ....

David - I wouldn't hold my breath on that one, okay? :-)
Stonery - we can agree to disagree, yes? I'll stick with "the bigger you are, the less you need Google's free tool."
well, I'll agree it's true that you need it less if you got bank. I just don't necessarily buy that it's a negative. except that there are other tools much more robust that large businesses probably need.
Great article, Matt. I've also used G Docs (mostly spreadsheets) as an easy way to populate a chart or map mashup. They're such an Excel-like interface that clients can update on their own. And I agree with David, G Checkout is SUPER-simple to integrate.
