Great post and many sites featured here show good examples of users freelly sharing topics and links. Just look at the number of new SEO blogs in the user lists. There is no shortage of goodwill, an undervalued side bonus of the Sphinn community.
I have to agree with you there.... 100%. :)
The way I look at links is this: you can gain a lot by having someone link to you, linking to others will cost you nothing. Why not throw a few good links here or there (if theyre truly deserving based on content, rather than ranking or authority)?Great find, as always, Shana.
It is just as important not to go stingy in the SphinnsWendys original post was submitted early yesterdayhttp://sphinn.com/story/8252
Sorry, Wendy and Simonne.... didnt even see that. Thanks Andy for pointing that out. :)
Shana nothing wrong with a double submit, Wendy has a chance of even more traffic now, and this happens a lot even to active Sphinn users. We even had that classic double of the same post URL once...It will be great to leverage this discussion to pull that one out of the depths a little.
I agree (says he as he blushes and rushes to update his (very) old help page where it said in a very stingey way some waffle about high PR sites..)
LOL, I was surprised to see that blog post sphunn as well since Wendys is already on here, but thanks for the sphinn love!I love it when posts like this come from people outside the standard realm of the SEO industry. Wendy knows quite a bit about SEO without "being" an SEO and her perspective is great. And yet, one of the first commenters on the post at my blog said he wont link to PR0 blogs because he doesnt want to have to watch to see if they get a higher PR down the road since hed have to remove the link if they didnt.I dont get that at all. When did Google become the person who can judge the quality of a link or article? Who cares if it sits on a site thats PR0 for ever. If its worth linking to, its worth linking to.
