| Squareoak Social Media Blog | It’s incredible the deluge of junk and spam out there originating from hack SEO and SEM service providers. If you’re a business owner or a marketing director who’s new to search engine optimization and marketing it’s easy to get lost and discouraged among the promotional swill. I’ve put together a list of warning signs that will allow you to steer clear of the hacks, what you can expect when searching for SEO or SEM services within specific sites, and where to look for reputable people and firms.

A Search Engine’s Paid Search Ads If a search marketing company has to pay their way to make a dent in the SERPs then how are they going to provide any real value to your business? This I must disagree on. Ofcourse, organic must not be failing. But also by looking at how ads are set up you can tell something about their quality of service (multi-lingual targeted campaigns, native speakers? etc)

@mbeijk I’d like to reply to you but you don’t really state why you disagree with the italicized text. Your argument is a little unclear. Repost?

The italic text says that its a bit stupid for a search engine marketing company to be buying traffic. My opinion is that this can only support their organic campaign. And just by looking at some ad campaigns you might be able to tell something about their expertise.

Great article don’t forget they send an seo service to a seo company. My personal favorite.
