Have never heard of Five Second Test before but what a great way of monitoring and tracking the effectiveness of your site layout and design. Will certainly try this out on a site, great fun! :)

The Five Second Test will not tell you if the site is effective for tasks, conversions and persuasive architecture.  I’d rather apply quick cognitive tests to something like testing the effectivness of keyword searches and landing pages.Nice to see more tools coming out but they only skim the surface of usability testing. True testing will always require time, environments and humans :)

I agree with you, I have a great selection of tools that do measure what matters although I just liked the idea of this one as a bit of fun more than anything else. HehThere are always more and more tools coming out, some more useful than others of course. :)

This is great! I was astonished by the Five Second Test and the Feng-Gui, have to try it. I also know a few people who will be glad to use these fun tools. I’ll have to notify them too. Nice one. Hope there’s more. ^_^
