I’ve found that while Digg users will hit stories comments such as lame, fail, old news, etc - StumbleUpon has some interesting folks that expand quite a bit on their negative opinions.

Some people get picked on their whole lives for being too scared to stand up for themselves in person. Those are the people who, when protected by the anonymity of the Internet, turn into utter A$$holes.

On SU there is a small obnoxious group of users, this guy is among them, who mess up the whole community. They attempt to pose as the SU police and fight SEO among others but basically they insult people for no apparent reason. StumbleUpon should limit the power of those who mainly vote "thumbs down" and offend others.

Wasn’t there a study done recently that showed StumbleUpon users to be drastically younger than Digg et al?
