Where I expand on a comment I made in Jane Copland’s Pubcon post from a couple weeks ago and talk about a conference session that I’d love to see programmed.

Being Vegas and all, a less formal drinky poo session would definitely seem appropriate. For a session like this I think the moderator needs to be pretty familiar with blogging and probably even be a blogger themselves. Panelists will talk all day long if not pulled in by the mod - which is one thing that happened with the political and Twitter questions. The cool thing this year was the addition of Jane and Barry to bring in more perspectives.<div></div><div>I think Mike McDonald did a great job last year as did Rand and Andy as panelists. The banter was entertaining, smart and informative and Mike kept things moving along. His editorial perspective and interviewing skills/experience make him a great choice for moderating discussions. That’s my opinion anyway.<div></div><div>BTW Todd, I tried to make this comment on the blog, but the spam protection thing doesn’t add very well. :)</div></div>
