Let’s face it—most of the wailing about Google has to do with the fact that people are fascinated by the prospect of sucking in traffic from Google Search and quickly sending it away for cash via AdSense. Even in the relatively rare instances where that model results in livable amounts of cash, I thought the goal was to work for yourself, not Google.

A fun and opportunist post. :)He forget the big E after the three S’s - EGO. A lot of people run a blog as an extension of their ego - social posturing - so when a third party like Google gives them a slap, they take it personally. Which doesn’t need to be the case.

It’s even worse when people think Google owes them something.Google traffic is great, but if it can make or break your business, you don’t have much of a business.
