Increased advertising will sustain, but not drive, Digg. The company can increase its user base through acquisitions and cross its fingers with ads, but without a bigger vision, Digg won’t stick around, assuming the plan is to stay independent.

There is no way that a premium membership, or any pay service will fly on digg.  The users will just find another community.

Social networking sites thrive on their increasing userbase, and Digg is no exception. Different services can be introduced later on in the business life cycle.

ummm...they could allow people to create their own micro version of Digg that is password protected. Think about it companies can use it, groups of friends and then no one has to worry about "typical digg users."Would Sphinn even exist if they did this?????????How stupid are these people running Digg. Kevin who the F# cares what his name is can’t do anything with this company. Its a joke.
