simple but clear thinking.
Hehe, interesting to know... Lets see how popular I can make myself look then... :p
One of the best things about Twitter has been its speed in growth, but also its own achiles heel. Its provided so many benefits for a variety of different uses, but needs to get on top of some of these exploits super sharp to continue its growth sccessfully and continue to make it a good place to be...otherwise alternatives will slowly start gobbling-up market share.
Agreed, fastest growing social media platform at the moment Twitter is... It doesnt take long before any flaws or loop holes in the platform are exploited, either through hacking, spamming or other means. It wont be long before the mentioned is halted I wouldnt have thought, especially once it has been brought into the public light.
What would the benefit be of having fake followers anyway? That would only be a number, not actual contacts (which is a far better benefit)
@artsycrafter youre right that its better to have actual contacts on your Twitter books, but as we know that social media profiles can act as business assets, its worth noting (especially as people might not actually count through their followers list and buy from simply looking at this stat)http://sphinn.com/story/88381Or the original article:http://www.justmeandmy.com/could-you-buy-or-sell-social-media-profiles
Every emerging platform is going to have its weaknesses exploited - and this fact will soon be the bane of Twitters existence. I am curious to see how Twitter will react in "fixing" these issues without losing what made it the giant that it is. However, sometimes I really wish I didnt have ethics - I could make myself a social media god with tricks like this.
