I like this SEO Pyramid much better. The whiteboard one shows content at the bottom, then keywords, but really keywords are part of content unless you are adding them after the fact... which kind of breaks the content model. Why not make the content properly utilize the keywords? The success pyramid is more SEO process focused, but if you reverse it to see things from a web publishing perspective, it makes perfect sense. Thats the proper way to do things, IMHO. Read the manual first, and then build the site to succeed.
Yep, I thought the same thing as John when I looked at the SEOmoz pyramid. How you can plan site architecture without first doing the keyword research?
Ditto, Jill & John! Even though I think the pyramid is great, I wondered the very same thing. How can one create quality content without first incorporating what youve learned in the keyword research process for the page/site? Ive always been of the mindset that keyword research is step one of the process.Anyone disagree?
Matt McGee copycat.
Charts are excellent for explaining stuff to clients.
