thanks for the Sphinn - I actually started the post (poking around and reviewing) back last fall... now with the economic situation, felt that putting it all together would be worthwhile so somebody out there - Job seekers and Employers really...
Your SEO resource could be turned into a handbook!Youve compiled a list not only for job seekers but for those who need to understand the methodologies of SEO as well as the pay scale. This resource would be great for college counseling offices to guide students who are entering the workforce. Now, more than ever, its imperative to have a solid skillset as well as an aptitude for continual learning. The list serves as a reminder to all in the industry that one doesnt just learn SEO and go to work without continual, daily, education.
Seomozs blog itself and Youmoz are great places to get noticed. Ive found no one bothers to check the marketplace, personally. Also, the general sites like Monster are GARBAGE. I got restaurant and call center managers and computer salesmen applying for an "SEO Rockstar" (actual title) spot I was recruiting for. See this for more:seoroi.com/case-studies/how-i-hired-an-seo-rockstar/Also, the post seems to have missed SEO Gadgets jobs. Hes also got a post on how to get a job in seo.
i am currently looking for a job in SEO, I am taking the long way around as i simply dont have any formal qualifications and developing my profile on social sites such as this.i will be learning as i go along and also building up a following and a friend base for my comments and articles i write.
