The fallacy in this thinking is that it’s "no-cost" since you only spend your time. However, your work time is best spent on a known money making task so these 2 work hours represent time not spent on a known money making revenue source so it’s a gamble if it pays off.But it definitely comes at a cost because you lost the time that could’ve generated real income.

I can think of writing a blog post for an affiliate program or doing a paid review but other than that... it can be hard to quantify blog-related marketing and relate it to actual profits.
