This looks great.  Any word on if Google will ever allow webmaster tools to be a multi-user / permission based account like analytics or adwords?

It's frustrating having only one login for this and trying to make use of it on several different stores with several different employees.

tagvine, you can verify and manage webmaster tools for a site in multiple google accounts. You just need to add another verification file or meta tag for any other accounts. So you could have one master log-in that has all of the sites you manage and several other ones that are only verified to handle just one specific site.

If you have set up multiple accounts to access the tools for a domain, but you would like to repeal their access you can do that by going to the "manage site verification" section under the "tools" menu.  This will require all verified accounts to have to upload a new file or metatag.  Since you are the only one with access to the sites ftp or code only you can re-verify.

I'm getting a 404 when I click the Sitelinks url (yes, i'm logged in).

The requested URL /webmasters/tools/allsitelinks was not found on this server.

Anyone else?  Did they remove it for a bug or something?

JohnWeb, I appreciate your response... unfortunately it doesn't work for me.  We are using a templated based, hosted solution for our stores.  We don't have the ability to actually verify a store through sitemaps.  Both of the verification methods Google offers cannot be done through our store normally.  The creater of our Store software has since added a special "plug in" that will allow you to verify your stores for Google Webmaster tools.  However this "plug in" will only work for one verification tag.

I know it sounds like a mess... it is.  But unfortunately I cannot use the method you suggested (although it is interesting).  Back to wishing and praying.

In Barry's post he mentions that site links are up from 5 to 8, this is true when I log in to my webmaster central account, but I only see 5 site links in the actual SERP's.

Everything is working fine for me.

Here is a screenshot I see for SiteLinks:

Works for me too, although it didn't yesterday. I've blocked a few links (had 8 as well, but only 5 show) to see how that works. I'm also 'blocking' one that was actually showing in hope of changing the title (one of the options). I'm not entirely sure whether this will mean that one is blocked and a new one with correct title pops up, but the blocking can be undone it seems. I blocked at 10.15 local time, so will try and see how long it takes to filter through to the actual serps...

It's working now...

Has anyone tried changing their Sitelinks yet?  I wonder what will happen in I block 2 of the 8... does that mean I only get 6 Sitelinks or will they find two more links that might be just as useful?

@SamIWas - Keep us posted.

Tim, I've only ever had 4 showing on Google search (besides of course the normal link). When logging in I found G suggesting 8. The one that I blocked that has been visible is still visible, so no change in first 12 hours.

You can see the links in this screenshot: http://www.travellerspoint.com/photos/stream/photoID/172331/users/Sam%20I%20Am/

It's the destinations one I'm trying to get changed. If they really do increase the number of sitelinks to 8 I'll also of course be unblocking the login and signup ones as I figure it's better to have those there than 2 less, right?! :)

Okay, looks like it took 8 days and a few hours to get the sitelinks removed. I just checked and there are currently only 5 showing for us, the three that are gone being exactly the three I removed :) Going to unblock at least one now to see if it comes back with the correct text this time.

nice - thanks for the update Sam.

I was wondering if they'd come up with alternate links after you block a few, but that doesn't appear to be the case.  So apparently we're stuck with the original 8, but can have less if we want less... on top of the ability to change the  text.
