It all does come down to trust, even within the search engines.... at the end of the day, you have to give nad get trust in order to get anywhere. Well put!
I hate to "bash", but....The article is based on the advice: “Outsourcing tip: Hire talent you trust and let them do their job. Your micromanagement can hinder the process & results” The advice is sound for business owners who hire experts ("consultants" like Shimon) who should be more knowledgable than they are. However, consultants who use outsource providers to expand their ability to provide services, are not hiring people more knowledgable then themselves, they are hiring labor and therefore SHOULD be micromanaging the projects/vendors.Trust is important - but also trusting a provider to do what they do - even if not perfect is also ok. Example: I do a lot of programming in house and I have staff to do it. On simple HTML tasks that are very time consuming but not high level - I outsource to India. The work done in India is less than perfect but good enough for us to polish afterwards internally and save 75% of the time it would have taken at 25% of the cost. You CAN trust your vendors to make mistakes and need to be managed - and still see value.I think consultants should always micromanage!
Aves! I havent read it yet but great job on the first page!
SEO is ALWAYS about trust as Matt McGee aptly formulated.
