pulling unbranded keyword reports is one of those holy grails for SEO folks...helps show the incremental lift for generic terms...i.e. the ones that you actually have to work hard to get to rank above the fold.Good to know that theres a way to do this via Google Analytics.
Im finding out that Google Analytics can do just about everything. They just make it difficult to find the solution at times. haha.
I tried this out about an hour ago on one of my sites ... working like a charm. very cool.
Really useful thanks. I recently started pulling reports for a single brand, so great to know I can exclude more. But is there a limit, because ideally I want to exclude product codes too.
Very simple and straightforward! This can also be accomplished using segmentation, which is a great way to have your presets saved.
RichSpalding - No there isnt a limit to the number of filters you can add. At least not that Ive found. However if you have a great number of product codes that youll want to filter by on an ongoing basis, you can do as Semo suggested and setup an advanced segementation. Then that segement is saved for you to apply anytime in the future without retyping the product codes. If you like, I can write up a quick tutorial on how to do that as well.
