Blogger.com has a sad history of blocking crawlers. They throw rel-nofollow crap like confetti, they recently inserted NOINDEX,NOFOLLOW robots meta tags on various Google blogs (not all Google bloggers discovered it until today!), and earlier this year they blocked crawlers from indexing all blogs leaving their blogspot.com domain. The newest nonsense seems to be blocking crawling of blogspot hosted blogs publishing too much "shared contents".

See, I just don't get it with Blogger. It's not so user-friendly for visitors (yeah, just try to comment), so what's the excitement? That it's free?

No excitement. Considering the hassles it's free but more expensive than a WordPress blog on its own domain.
