I wish someone would desphinn this story or something. Do you agree? Disagree? Surely one of you has got to have an opinion.

IMO, this should be on the frontpage right now, that's how the system should work. If Barry can only get 5 sphinns in two and a half hours on a hot story then that should be enough.

I got one of him a while ago: http://www.seoco.co.uk/blog/2009/06/09/ashton-kutcher-just-tweeted-my-clients-story/ it was a crap article though so it only got about 10K if I could get him to tweet one of our good linkbaits I bet I would get 50K plus easy from all the re-tweets, wnat to make some extra money do you Ashton?

There are no where near enough people looking in the upcoming part for this system to properly work sirs, it sends about 15 hits.

Hi Joshua, Twitter.com itself has now sent just under 9,000 visitors not includng the knock on traffic from sites that pull his feed, altogether the story has had 16,000 unique page views and there are 60 comments on it. I don’t know any blogs that send that much traffic in a regular post, maybe Huff Post. Digg homepages don’t even always send that much.

I hit one of the down buttons by accident today and I think other people may do the same, only they will probably not realise it and on future searches they may be left trying to find a site that is no longer ranked.

They used to have amazing SERPs as well - like in the top page or two for news and stuff on Google.com. The new design has killed many of them. It looks like a blog now and not a social news site - Sphunn.

This is possibly the best thing since sliced bread. We are all going to get our sites re-instated, I am hoping for a lift on the lifetime ban on seoco.co.uk and some of my clients sites. There will be no more auto-bury BS, Google will not risk that. Also I can’t see Google just banning sites because they don’t like them, they are fair with the SERPs, so they will probably be fair with digg. Last thing: it will all go nofollow without any doubt, but who cares? That will just cut down the spam.Off topic: Have you seen how many ping backs that TC thread has? Now that is some linkbait.

Only just read this now and I think that is is a very clever idea. There may be some downsides though, people may just nofollow all their links, even the editorial ones.

I had one of my clients Dads who was like 70 doing pretty well on propeller when it was Netscape. I wouldn’t have shown him digg or anything LOL. I think an old person could possibly enjoy mixx as well.

Maybe my biz dir would send some traffic if it wasn’t minus 40 spanked. Sorry about saying that everyone, reading the article re-opened the old wound and rubbed a bit of salt in.
