What I like most about this, is that it presents the link building effort in a very stright forward, clear definition way for each type of link building.  I'm not much of an infographic person, but I did like the way they laid out this article.  Nice work

I have found that her l;ast advice about giving your readers and idea about what they should say is very useful.  DOn't just end a post with "please let me know your thoughts", instead ask a question, that they can answer in the comment.  That seems to drive comments.

Great Post,

Miguel

Well written article and I agree with the importance of mobile search.  I believe that the mobile phone market and the abilities to interact with these phones will be the new frontier for the next few years.  One thing I wonder about is the statement of Bing being a legitimate #2.  I have heard the same think about Linux Desktop OS becoming a legitimate #2 in the OS market for over 10 years and it has still failed to materialize.  Lets see a little more evidence from Bing before we crown a true competitor to Google.

Agreed, the don't question is a poorly worded joke, you should always think before acting in SEO.   But it was a nice list.

Interesting topic and a good point about the difference between TBPR and PR.  COuld have been a little more specific about the details of each, but was correct in pointing out that they are two different things.

Very interesting. You bring up some outstanding points. We had also been told that nofollows don’t matter, but as you have explained, it seems that they really do matter. I especially always felt that any link that could drive human traffic was a good link. (Within reason)

Thanks for the info.

Great Post. I especially like the point in #1. That you should only use CPA SEO to reduce your risk, not your cost. Too many times clients fail to get this simple fact.

Great writeup,

Miguel

I think the point about your content suffering when you maintain 3 or 4 blogs just for link building is right on.  Blogs are already having a tough enough time producing quality content for 1 blog, 3-4 blogs just waters it down.

It wasn't bad, it is a nioce writeup and a good start for people who need to learn about what a robots.txt file is.  Any article could always be better.

Nice writeup.  I think the Directory submission is transforming before our eyes, and soon the way we all do our link building will be more personalized and connected.  Thanks,

These types of shady tactics have been around forever, and unfortunately will probably be a part of our world for a long time to come. The best thing to do is shed light on these practices via articles like this and educated the consumer. It sad because a few bad apples can really damage the perception of the industry.

Thanks for your ideas.  Nice list, and a lot of those reason carry over into other parts of people's life's, so blogging can help a person develop great life skills.  I think it teaches people how to accept criticism about their ideas, which is a valuable lesson to learn.

Good Work

Fantastic writeup & I love the links to the other companies policies.  This post is a great way to build a basic understanding of what is happening and what is needed in a social media policy.  The links to the other policies are great resources for starting your own. Thanks for the effort.
