I’ve seen a load of these type of sites popping up over the last few weeks. Many seem to be built using http://www.5starred.com/ (same script, $20 instead of 100)

Seems backward - why not just tweak the algorithm?I digg your stories 10 times in 10 days, tweak it so my votes for you are worth a little less for a while. Or just plain give me a warning & prevent me from doing it.

had this problem previously &, interestingly, once got in touch with you, Stephan, to ask what you thought!After no-following, our traffic went down, but we kept it nofollowed anyway as our servers had been totally hammered by all the attribute-page crawling. Interestingly - though traffic reduced - revenue did not &, as a result, conversion % bumped up.
