Another hit-the-nail-on-the-head post from Andrew; the "fake reciprocity" comment about Guy following followers back sums it up rather nicely. He’s clearly telling everyone that he has no time to engage with his followers, but he’ll follow you back because he’s not "a dick". There’s a disconnect there which a lot of people find easy to overlook, and Andrew has clarified the disparity between Guy the Twitter Guru and Guy the Twitter spammer.

Five characters might not seem like a lot, but it’s certainly something that is going to give an extra advantage to advertisers who choose to use DKI. Consider the difference between:Advertiser 1: Cheap Flights to New York City (30 characters)Advertiser 2: Flights to New York City (24 characters)You get an entire extra word in, letting the searcher know that there’s better potential to get cheaper flights from Advertiser 1 than Advertiser 2. Whether or not this helps on the follow through is another discussion altogether, but it’s certainly yet one more way that Google thinks will get more bang for your buck.

"He is a Tool for Twitter."A tool on twitter... was blown away by the sheepherded nodding and agreement of what he was saying. Lisa is spot on when she calls him out on the irony of the sarcasm he was serving up as Twitter love.

Could also be geo-spatial imaging companies.  They’ve had some problems in the past with the anti-terrorism police (or whatever they like to be called these days) and needed to acquire the proper permits; it apparently set them back months.  Do you know if there was any noise about Google filing permits?  I can’t seem to find anything.Bring on the lawsuits! :)
